Amazing Spaces: Top Operator in 2013 List
We are pleased to announce that Mini-Storage Messenger magazine has listed Amazing Spaces® as a Top 100 Operator of 2013. Mini-Storage Messenger (MSM), the “education destination for Self Storage,” publishes their Top Operator list annually. The list features the storage industry’s key players, ranking the top 100 self storage operators in the nation by total rentable square footage.
To get an idea of how big the self storage industry is in the US, take a look at the Self Storage Association’s 2013 mid-year industry fact sheet. The fact sheet states that currently there are approximately 52,500 self storage facilities in the United States with a combined total of roughly 2.23 billion square feet of rentable storage space. Among the 50,000+ facilities in the US, Houston-based Amazing Spaces Storage Centers ranks as Top Operator #88 with four company-owned and managed properties, and we’re still growing. We plan to begin construction on two new Texas locations next year.
