December 2016 Update from Our Calf Scramble Sponsees
We have your Amazing Spaces’ December 2016 Calf Scramble update! Throughout 2016, we have been extremely fortunate to have two Amazing calf scramble sponsees, Jordan and Justin. We’ve watched these two raise the calves we’ve sponsored and admired their dedication to their work. We recently received our final update for 2016 from Jordan and her calf, Daisy. We’re extremely excited to share this Amazing update with you!
Jordan has been one busy person throughout this month! She and her family are beginning to search for a bull to breed Daisy. Here’s hoping for a new bundle of joy in late December or early January. We just love baby calves and we can’t wait to hear the joyful news! More Amazing news? Jordan and her 4-H show will be hosting their very first show! On January 7th, the “Heads Up & Stick ‘Em” Steer and Heifer show will take place in Rockwall, Texas. This is particularly exciting, because Jordan’s club has been talking about hosting a show for nearly two years. We wish Daisy and Jordan the best of luck at this event! Daisy and Jordan are also planning on participating in their first scramble show at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo on January 28th. My, they’re certainly keeping busy and kicking off 2017 with a big BANG.
We love learning about our sponsees’ experiences, the lessons, the challenges, and just plainly how much fun they all seem to have! We wish we could go cheer on Jordan and Daisy in person, but we’ll be there in spirit! What do you think of this month’s update?! Comment below!
