George Hermann’s 172nd Birthday Party

Come join us as we celebrate the 172nd birthday of Hermann Park’s namesake. In honor of his 172nd birthday, children 12 and under can ride the Hermann Park Railroad for $1.72. Fun, food, and smiles are all available!
Teen Takeover @ Creekside YMCA
Teens, ages 11 – 15 (must be in 6th grade or older) can participate in this free social mixer at the Creekside YMCA on the second and fourth Friday of each month, from 7:00 – 11:00 PM.
Activities will include a social mixer, night hike, sports, group games, fitness, arts, dancing, fellowship and much more. Pre-registration is required. YMCA Membershipnot required.
Pottery Fridays at Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens
Free pottery classes August 7, August 14 and August 21, 1 pm – 3 pm. The two-hour class is for children and their caregivers with free activities and art-making, pottery demonstrations, scavenger hunts, and take home activities. Located at 6003 Memorial. Xplorations Summer Camps

Kids will love Xplorations Summer Science Adventures, weeklong hands-on science summer camps featuring science activities for children ages six to 12.
