Red, White, & Brew
Celebrate the red, white, and brew until you’re seeing stars at the Karbach Brewery Co.’s July 4th Music & Fireworks Spectacular. Raise a glass to the land of the free and the home of the brave! Karbach’s Independence Day concert will feature one of the most influential rock bands of all time and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees, CHEAP TRICK. They’ll be bringing a full headline set to the big stage at Karbach with their classic hits such as “I Want You to Want Me”, “Dream Police”, and “Surrender.”
Get Patriotic During Fireworks on the Patio
If you love creative American eats and craft cocktails, grab tickets for Poitin Bar & Kitchen’s Fireworks on the Patio in Houston. NASA At Freedom Over Texas
NASA will be joining Houston’s Fourth of July celebrations at Freedom Over Texas in honor of the 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing. Visitors will have the opportunity to check out NASA’s Destination Station exhibit throughout the event, and share special messages throughout the day. Plus, free admission!
KIDPENDENCE DAY
America’s heroes Captain American and Wonder Woman are making a star spangled appearance at the Children’s Museum of Houston. Then follows an American Flag Giveaway and a red, white, & blue inspired Science Demo in the Courtyard.
Freedom 5K/10K
Kick-off America’s birthday with TXU Energy’s Wings of Freedom 5k/10k and Family Fun Run! Runners are meeting at 7:30AM at Karbach Brewery before their fireworks spectacular later in the day. Karbach Brewery is generously donating one beer per person, 21 and over! Plus, the first 500 REGISTRANTS will receive a free Karbach pint glass. Participants will receive a technical shirt and a fun, festive surprise on behalf of TXU Energy! Start your day off with live music, beer, food and lots of entertainment for families including dogs at the Freedom Celebration at 8AM. If registering for the family fun run at 9:30 a.m., you may choose an adult shirt, kids shirt or dog bandana.
