Fishers in this lovely town set out for the waters every morning and sail back every evening with fresh seafood. The view is picturesque from any of the many restaurant patios overlooking the sea. However, it’s the shrimp that brings tourists here—the shrimp is always fresh and delicious.

The locals are also friendly, and you can do fun activities such as sailing. Palacios offers a nice weekend break away from the hustle and bustle of Houston.


San Antonio

San Antonio is just a few hours away from Houston. It’s a lovely city with a lot of friendly folks. One of its most popular attractions is the river walk. Tourists often visit the city to simply take a serene stroll along the river or canoe its gentle waters. It’s also popular for its delicious Tex-Mex cuisine, and the service is simply unrivaled.

Corpus Christi

Corpus Christi is characterized by its deep-blue waters surrounded by picturesque beaches.

Corpus Christi offers unlimited fun if you’re a fan of water sports. Alternatively, you can take it easy and just enjoy the refreshing water with a swim at the shores and dry off by basking on the beach; don’t forget to pack your sunscreen.
