Easter Fun in Houston

We’re already moving into one of my favorite holidays of the year, Easter. My, 2016 is just flying by, isn’t it?! For those of you who are not sure what to do this Easter Sunday after church, we have a few Amazing ideas from all around Houston for you.

Brunch in a Cute Neighborhood of the City

Brunch and Easter go together better than poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. Houston Press has some AMAZING suggestions on where you should reserve your Sunday brunch this year. This list is a little old, but my GOODNESS, they all look incredible.  I’m  thinking about going to go to Max’s Wine Dive…the once a year mole sauce is just calling my name.

Check out the Easter egg hunts around town!

Houston on the Cheap has a great list of all the hunts around town, some even this Saturday!  If you’re closer to Spring or The Woodlands, we recommend checking out The Woodlands online event calendar or Spring Today’s calendar.  I recommend tacking on a fun activity like a farmer’s market to your Easter egg hunt.

Have fun at one of the many weekend celebrations happening in Houston

Have you heard of the Frontier Fiesta?   It’s an annual family festival at the University of Houston that has been a Houston tradition since 1940.

Avoid the crowds and schedule an after-church family game tournament.

Our suggestion? Get the game Ticket to Ride. It’s easy to learn and fun for the whole family!

Skip the brunch, go to lunch or dinner!

Opentable.com has a ton of exciting Easter suggestions (104 restaurants in Houston!) for you to take your family to this weekend. My vote? Any Pappas restaurant!
