If you haven’t already done so, it’s time to make some plans to celebrate that special guy in your life – your dad! Father’s Day is this Sunday, June 19th, and there are so many great things to do for Father’s Day in Houston, we don’t know where to start! Below is a list of a few choice options to choose from.

Attend a Festival
The 3rd Annual Houston Firkin Fest at Hennessy Park is this Saturday. Enjoy craft beer from Texas served in traditional casks, aka “firkins”. The event features rare and hard-to-find beers from craft breweries in Houston and around the state. Expect specialties from Real Ale, 8th Wonder, Karbach, No Label, and Saint Arnold, among others. Tickets range between $10 to $80. 1pm-6pm.
Catch a Game
Cheer on the Dynamo as they play DC United in the only home game of the month at BBVA Compass Stadium. This game will have a Star Wars theme and will feature photo ops with characters and entertainment. Tickets start at $28, packages start at $35.
Take the Big Guy to Brunch
A lot of restaurants are serving up special Father’s Day menus and great deals. For a complete list of restaurants visit the Open Table website here. Pro Tip: If you’re planning on brunching this Sunday, be sure to make reservations as far in advance as possible!
