Here’s a few go-to Houston destinations that never disappoint!

Downtown Aquarium—Check out their 2020 Spring Break Tips to see the best ticketing deals, as well as when to visit to avoid crowds and capture special events. Have you checked out their new, expanded outdoor tiger habitat that opened December of 2019? Get up close and personal with your favorite tiger in their ‘Kid Crawl’ and observe the tigers in their new, state-of-the-art facility complete with a waterfall with a chilled and heated pool!

 

Houston ZooExplore all of their latest exhibits and make a day of it kicking things off with a morning elephant bath, followed by a trip to the rhino habitat and feeding the giraffes! Did you hear the news? Their elephant family is growing by O N E this spring! The Houston Zoo never disappoints with fun for everyone of every age!

 

The Escape GameThis is the perfect adventure for your older kiddos. The Escape Game is packed with fun surprises, unmatched set design, and is sure to guarantee great memories for the whole family! Houston Livestock Show and RodeoWe couldn’t help but mention the obvious, since it does technically fall during spring break! This three week rodeo extravaganza is one you don’t want to miss! Put on your boots, hat and get ready for shows, concerts, and carnivals like nothing you’ve ever seen before. Not to mention, some of the best BBQ and Houston food you’ve ever tasted!

“Bahn Break 2020”—Schlitterbahn Spring Break in New Braunfels—Get a head start on summer and explore the Blastenhoff Rides portion of the park complete with the most exciting uphill water coaster in the world, The Master Blaster! This gem, situated half way between Austin & San Antonio is the perfect spring break destination that won’t break the bank!

Space Center HoustonWhether you have been to visit before or you’re a first-timer, there’s always something new to explore. Looking to make things especially fun for your space-loving family? Opt for the Level 9 Tour or Lunch with an Astronaut!

Port ArthurThis hidden gem is located just an hour and 30 minutes outside of Houston and offers a 90,000-acre salt water estuary on the Texas-Louisiana border. Fishing, kayaking, hiking and authentic Cajun food make for the ultimate day trip!
