The number 17 has always been a lucky one for us at Amazing Spaces, so needless to say, we’re pretty stoked about this New Years. We love providing storage services to many communities in Houston and surrounding areas. Our goal is to give back and participate in our neighborhoods, which is why we try to create blog posts with helpful information about upcoming events. We want to help you find the most Amazing place to ring in 2017. We did our homework to bring you the best ideas for celebrating New Years in Houston (seriously – we called, e-mailed, and did some heavy online research to find these for you). Our Favorite Idea? Staying the night in an Amazing hotel
If you’re like me, you want to make New Year’s special, but dealing with the crowds and chaos outweighs any desire to leave your house. That’s why my favorite way to celebrate New Year’s Eve is inside an all-inclusive event, at a hotel in Houston. Not only will you have a beyond Amazing experience, when you are ready to hit the hay, you can simply go up to your room and enjoy a first-class snooze.
Hotel Package Suggestion 1: The Houstonian
If you are looking for a luxurious, romantic New Year’s getaway, this is for you. From what I can tell, you receive an Amazing room, have the option to interact with others early on in the evening, and then have an entire New Year’s stay-cation catered to you from the comfort of your own room. Immerse yourself in the easy luxury of this special event.
Hotel Package Suggestion 2: Hotel ZaZa
Cocktails, snacky-snacks, entertainment, and a luxurious room. Find everything you need to celebrate New Year’s with a BANG at Hotel ZaZa’s New Year’s Even soiree. This one’s probably my 2nd favorite, but I would be nervous about how crowded the party gets.
Hotel Package Suggestion 3: Omni Hotel Houston
Very similar to Hotel ZaZa, but I think this one is supposed to be a bit more grandiose on the part front. If you want to make a BIG splash and still enjoy the luxury of slipping upstairs to go to bed, then I think you found your party. I am hesitant to recommend this one because it does seem more…immature than the other parties, but parts of it really sound like fun!
Hotel Package Suggestion 4: La Torretta Resort & Spa
I’ve stayed at La Torretta and it was MAGNIFICENT. On NYE, their property will be transformed into a casino-party festive event. Food, prizes, and fun all ensure you’ll ring out 2016 in the best way possible. This is likely what my hubs and I are going to do on NYE. Easy, fun, and AMAZING.
Not interesting in staying the night somewhere? Try a nice dinner!
If you’re just looking to step out and enjoy a nice meal to close off 2016, then New Year’s Eve is the time to do it! Nearly every restaurant I researched has some kind of special to celebrate 2017!
