2016 Houston Restaurant Week

Houston Restaurant Weeks 2016, benefiting the Houston Food Bank, is now underway! The event runs from August 1 – September 5, 2016 (Labor Day). Participating restaurants donate a portion of sales to the Houston Food Bank. Last year’s event raised a record $1.9 million. Since the start of the event in 2003, they have raised more than $7.6 million. The sum raised by Houston Restaurant Week has enabled the nation’s largest food bank to provide about 23 million meals for Houstonians in need.

Foodies will have 36 days to enjoy prix-fixe meals at participating restaurants. Some of the participating restaurants require reservations and some accept walk-ins; the information is all noted on the website here. Not only is this an event for a good cause, it’s also a chance to dine at a restaurant you’ve been interested in trying out. Below are a few of our top choices for some amazing eats!
